On the Young Doctor Programme, a group of highly-accomplished doctors will immerse you in a series of interactive role-plays, seminars, and Q&A sessions, to give you a 360-degree experience of practising medicine. You will also be coached on how to maximise your chances of gaining entry into a top medical school.  You will leave the programme having gained a competitive advantage over other aspiring medics, and a brilliant experience to include on your UCAS application.

Programme Outcomes and Highlights 

You will undertake the ultimate medical work experience, participating in activities including:

  • Stitching up a wound (suturing), with a live demonstration by a senior surgeon
  • Using the latest Virtual Reality technology to immerse yourself in a live A&E situation where you will need to race against the clock to treat patients. This includes:
  • X-ray examination
  • Taking the patient's medical history
  • Recommending urgent tests that need to be taken

    You will be coached on how to maximise your chances of gaining admission into a top UK medical school:

    • Model UCAS personal statements
    • UKCAT and BMAT test practice
    • Powerful interview techniques

    You will have access to established doctors from a variety of medical disciplines:

    • Q&A time with leading medical professionals
    • Unlimited lifetime access to our depth of expertise. Students can contact us for further advice at any time and the most-relevant doctor will respond to your questions.

      WHO CAN ATTEND?

      This programme is for students aged 15-18 who have the passion and ambition to both learn about this career, and start boosting their UCAS/college applications & CVs. If you are a student who is slightly older or younger than our guidelines, then please do get in touch with us to discuss your specific situation.


      There is no application process, and you can secure your place simply by clicking “Register Now”. We operate on a first-come first-served basis and programme places are limited; we are usually full a couple of months in advance of the programme date. No prior knowledge or experience is required to join this programme as we build your knowledge from the basics up to more advanced concepts.
