A masterclass in your dream career
Our weekend programmes are designed to give students the perfect introduction to a career in their chosen industry. Over the course of the day, students will be coached by leading professionals and will get to participate in taster career simulations to boost their understanding of the industry and what it entails.
WHAT IS A WeekenD PROGRAMME?
Our career weekend programmes take place on Sundays throughout the autumn and spring terms. Students can choose to attend in-person on UCL campus in London, or live online from the comfort of their own home. Students aged 15-18 have 15 different careers to choose from, whilst we offer 5 different careers for ages 12-14.
- Every weekend programme includes:
- 5 hours of career experiences with industry professionals, including:
o An introduction to the industry, types of roles available within the field, key responsibilities and skills required and what to expect
o Interactive taster activities to simulate the type of work a professional would do in that field
o A dedicated career coaching session
o A live Q&A panel discussion with industry experts - Follow-up online assessment with a personalised digital certificate
LOCATIONS
Students can choose to attend our weekend programmes in-person or online.
In-person in London: Experience a day on campus at the prestigious University College London. Students can fully immerse themselves in the day-to-day life of a professional in London, through hands-on simulations and face-to-face networking opportunities.
Live online: Our online programmes take place in the UK time zone. They are carefully curated to be interactive and engaging, so students can experience their dream career from the comfort of their own homes.
Programmes typically start at 11am and finish at 5.30pm with a one hour lunch break.
