Overview
The Young Medicine and Engineer Weekend gives students aged 15-18 a chance to test-drive life in the fields of medicine and engineering. Learn from experts as they guide you through a series of interactive activities: learn to suture a wound and teardown a mechanical system. You will also be coached on the pathways into these careers, with expert guidance on how to excel in applications, interviews, admissions tests, and more.

- Take part in a range of interactive activities
- Practise your suturing skills by stitching up a open wound on dummy skin
- Become the engineer in a live teardown of a mechanical system
- You will be trained on how to fulfil your ambitions of becoming a top professional in medicine and engineering
- An action plan of how to break into the industry, starting now
- Coaching by experts on: subject choices, university and degree selection; extra-curricular activities; work experience; application and interview techniques
- Attendance demonstrates you’ve gained skills that are key to becoming a doctor or an engineer
- Complete the online assessment after the programme and receive a personalised certificate to include in your applications
This programme is for students aged 15-18. No prior knowledge or experience is required. The programme involves a mixture of interactive simulations, exercises and Q&A sessions.
Programme Fee:
In-Person: $2050HKD/student for full day
