Overview
The Young Doctor Weekend gives students aged 15-18 a chance to test-drive life as a doctor. Learn from experts as they guide you through a series of interactive activities: learn to suture a wound, examine patient X-rays and discuss diagnoses. You will also be coached on how to get a place at a top medical school, with expert guidance on how to excel in applications, interviews, the UCAT and BMAT and other admissions tests, and more.

- A top doctor will coach you through a range of interactive activities, including:
- Review patient X-rays and ECGS, come up with a diagnosis and initiate treatment
- Stitch up a wound on dummy skin after a live demonstration
- An A&E experience: enter an A&E simulation using cutting-edge VR technology and race against the clock to save a patient’s life
- Receive coaching from experts on how to excel at every stage of the medical school admissions process
- Unlock your writing skills and receive invaluable tips on your medical school application essays
- Be prepared for your medical school admissions tests with comprehensive guidance on how to do well and succeed

This programme is for students aged 15-18. No prior knowledge or experience is required. The programme involves a mixture of interactive simulations, exercises and Q&A sessions.
Programme Fee:
In-Person: €220/student for full day
