Get ready for your summer experience
Thank you for completing your student enrolment form.
On this page you will find all the key information you will need for your experience including programme timetables, information on our accommodation and arrival and departure information.

Arrival, Departure and Transfer Information
Check In and Check Out Times
Residential students should arrive at the accommodation between 12pm and 5pm on arrival day. We will run an informal activity programme during this time. There will be a formal induction session at 5:30pm. On the students' final day in the accommodation, they will need to check out of their rooms by 10am. They should leave by 1pm unless they have booked an airport transfer with InvestIN, which may depart later depending on the flight time. If you need to arrive or depart outside of these times, please contact us at info@investin.org to let us know.

For students who have purchased an InvestIN airport transfer as part of their package. We would advise that the best experience for students is using the Heathrow Coach Transfer Service, as students are able to meet course mates, and travel with peers. Heathrow Coach Service is available for flights arriving between 6am and 5pm on Arrival Day and for flights departing after 9am on Departure Days. For full information please click below!

For students making their own way to their Summer Experience we ask that they let us know their mode of transport and what time they expect to arrive to allow our team to plan for their arrival. Please log this on Reach. If a student is being dropped off or collected by a parent, guardian or trusted adult, we ask that you let us know the name of that person in advance, and that the named adult brings photographic ID with them. All of this information should be logged on REACH. The below link will go live in soon.

Safeguarding Policy
InvestIN treats safeguarding our students very seriously. Please see our full Safeguarding Policy here.
Download docsendWhat to Bring
Whilst there is no strict dress code, we encourage our students to dress professionally during course hours. Outside of course hours, students can dress casually. Students will need to bring a laptop or tablet with them for their programme. As our Summer Experiences are run during British summer, the weather can be unpredictable. We would strongly advise students pack clothing suitable for both warm and cool (including wet!) weather. Please see a full packing list here.

Students, parents/legal guardians will be given access to Reach. Please look out for an email inviting you to register and then do so. There is no official dress code. We encourage students to dress smart casually for their programmes, essentially no tracksuits. There will be days on certain programmes where students will need clothes they don’t mind getting messy; if this applies to you, you will be told in advance.
Groups are allocated by the programme chosen; we cannot guarantee any specific friendship groups being put together.
Students who are staying in the accommodation will have free time from 8am- 9:30am and from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. During which they are permitted to leave the accommodation. Our code of conduct must be followed at all times.
Our final registration is at 10:30pm, where students will be registered at their room doors.
Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their students from the programme, however it is not compulsory. For students who are staying in the accommodation with us, we ask that you let us know how and when you are arriving and departing at least 3 weeks before the start of your experience.
Students who stay in the accommodation are escorted to and from their programme venues every day by their PALs
Students on our Young programmes are welcome to go out for lunch and dinner during their free time if they wish.
For students who stay in the accommodation, please let your PAL know as soon as possible that you aren’t feeling well and are unable to attend the day. For non-residential students, please email info@investin.org as soon as possible. If it’s a planned absence, please log a Leave Request on Reach for approval by the InvestIN team at least 48hours in advance.
We understand that sometimes you are delayed on your way to your programme due to transport issues. We ask that you get in contact with us at info@investin.org as soon as possible.
There is no pre-reading or prior knowledge expected before attending your Summer Experience. We just ask that you have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for your chosen programme!
Residential students will get 3 meals a day. Breakfast and dinner are served canteen style with a mixture of hot and cold options. We provide Waitrose vouchers for those students to grab a lunch on the go.
We do not provide food to non-residential students.
We are able to cater to most dietary restrictions, however we just ask that you let us know in advance so we can ensure we can cater for it.
All of the rooms we have are single ensuite rooms, so no students share a room.
All rooms are ensuite.

InvestIN is not a school and therefore does not hold the same rules regarding the use of mobile devices on-site. InvestIN allows students to have possession of their own devices throughout their time with InvestIN. However, InvestIN are very clear with students about when it is and is not appropriate to be using their mobile phones during the education programmes and activities. Unless advised otherwise, students are required to store their phones and pay attention to the speaker and programme content.
All residential students will join us each evening from 8pm-10pm for an array of social activities. These activities will take place at the halls of residence and surrounding areas and include a private trip to a Soho cinema, a quiz night and a wellness evening, as well as opportunities to bond with your course mates and unwind after a busy day.
On the weekends, all residential students not on the premium programme, will have free time in the mornings before joining us for more social activities for the rest of the day!
Students who are attending a 1 week experience will get a digital certificate shortly after their programme. Students on the 2 week experience will receive their physical certificate at the graduation ceremony on the final day and industry reference letters will be sent out in September.
You are welcome to send things to the accommodation during your experience. Please address them using your full name followed by InvestIN. However, we can’t guarantee that packages arriving before the experience will be received by InvestIN as we do not have staff on site.
Parents are welcome to visit the accommodation, and are welcome to help you settle into your room on check in day. However, we ask that after check in day parents sign in as visitors with a member of staff and remain in the communal spaces.
You do not need to bring bedding or towels, these are all provided with the room.
Towels are changed twice a week, and bins are emptied at the same time. The rooms are fully cleaned once a week, usually on a Friday or a Monday. However, rooms will not be cleaned if they are not tidy.
We do our best to find venues that have air conditioning, however, AC is not common in the UK and our accommodation rooms don’t have them. We advise all residential students to bring a portable fan with them.
All of our accommodation buildings have laundry facilities that students are able to use. For further information on how laundry works, please check the accommodation packs.
We will have a space for students to leave their luggage in the accommodation after they have checked out, although this is left at your own risk.
Our accommodation sites do not have gym facilities onsite, however there are a number of gyms in the nearby area that students can sign up to.
Check-in is open from 12pm until 5pm on arrival day. We will run an informal social programme during this time, and then a formal induction session starts at 5:30pm. Students have to check out of their rooms by 10am on their final day.
