PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

The Young Architect Programme gives students aged 15-18 a thrilling immersion into the world of Architecture. The programme includes a series of interactive simulations, seminars, case studies, and Q&A sessions with a team of accomplished architects, urban designers and consultants from some of the top names in the industry.

On the programme, you will have the opportunity to design a bespoke building, model it using cutting-edge 3-D software, receive guided feedback from architects and use virtual reality technology to view finished designs.

Attendance will give you a distinct competitive advantage in the race for the best universities and jobs in Architecture and a ‘gold star’ experience to add to your UCAS application.

No prior knowledge is required, only an interest in pursuing Architecture as a career.

Programme Outcomes and Highlights 

1. You will gain a 360-degree experience of Architecture, with live, interactive simulations including:

  • 3-D visualisations and VR walkthroughs
  • Smart city and digital infrastructure scoping
  • Planning for population safety, security, health and wellbeing with a variety of consultants
  • RIBA Stages 2,3 and 4 of your unique building design in accordance with a client brief 

2. You will be coached on how to land a top degree and job in Architecture:

  • An action plan on your path to becoming an architect, starting now
  • Coaching by experts on A-level, university and degree choices; extra-curricular activities; work experience; application and interview techniques

3. You will be trained by exceptional professionals from some of the world’s most reputable firms:

  • A Q&A session with a panel of high-ranking architects, urban designers, engineers, security consultants and commercial consultants
  • Unlimited lifetime access to our depth of expertise. Students can contact us for further advice at any time

 4. Boost your UCAS form and job applications:

How do I book my place?
Simply click “Register Now” on the right to begin the registration process.
Do I need to apply and be accepted in order to attend a programme?
There is no application in order to attend our programmes, as we feel that passion, ambition and a willingness to commit toward your future is enough. Our programmes, however, are extremely popular and are often full months in advance. We offer our places on a first-come first-served basis and places are highly limited.
Do I need to have prior knowledge?
No prior knowledge is required to attend our programmes, as we introduce each topic from a basic level of understanding.
What is the dress code for the programme/internship?
We ask that students wear professional clothing on our programmes as you will be meeting industry executives. Essentially, avoid wearing jeans, trainers or tracksuits. Suits, chinos and other smart casual wear are all acceptable.
How much do your one-day programmes cost?

Our one-day career experiences cost £135/student. This includes:

  • Entry to the programme
  • Access to our online assessment after the programme (pass and you receive a personalised certificate)
  • Lifetime access to our expertise; students can email us with career-related questions at any time and the most appropriate professional will provide their response. This can be an invaluable source of career coaching for life.
  • A guided tour of parts of the university campus which is available to all programme attendees

What time should I arrive?

Our one-day programmes generally start at 10.30am (11am for our Beyond Programmes). Registration is between 9.45-10.15am, to ensure you get there with plenty of time to network with other attendees before the programme begins. Once you have booked onto a programme, you will receive a confirmation email with programme-specific details about registration and programme timings.

Is lunch provided at your one-day programmes?

Lunch is not provided by InvestIN, as it is difficult to cater for the variety of dietary requirements amongst our students, However, there are many cafés and lunch spots near our venues; or you can of course bring a packed lunch.

Water will be provided for you throughout the day.

Can you bring food and drink to the event?

You are welcome to bring food and drink to the programme.

Do you let in latecomers?

The registration desk is open until noon, but If you are going to arrive after this, please email info@investineducation.co.uk in advance so that we can arrange for someone to be on-hand to register you.

Can I bring a bag into this event?

There will be space to store any bags and luggage at the event, simply ask a member of staff when you register.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

You will need to bring a laptop with you. You do not need to bring anything with you save for a pen, a notepad, and your enthusiasm! You will be provided with a booklet of materials on arrival, and throughout the programme you’ll be given the requisite equipment to participate in the simulations.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

This programme is for students aged 15-18 who have the passion and ambition to both learn about this career, and start boosting their UCAS/college applications & CVs. If you are a student who is slightly older or younger than our guidelines, then please do get in touch with us to discuss your specific situation.


There is no application process, and you can secure your place simply by clicking “Register Now”. We operate on a first-come first-served basis and programme places are limited; we are usually full a couple of months in advance of the programme date. No prior knowledge or experience is required to join this programme as we build your knowledge from the basics up to more advanced concepts.
