Overview

The Future Psychologist Summer Experience gives students aged 12-14 a 360-degree, fully-immersive experience of working as a psychologist in London.

Over the course of 10 days, students aged 12-14 will have some of the most prestigious experiences of psychology that one can imagine: carrying out live patient consultations, becoming an expert witness in court, conducting your own social experiment; attending a private networking session with top psychologists at The British Psychological Society.  

Also available on the Summer Experience are immersive experience at a psychological ‘escape room’, a pioneering PsychTech firm and a full day dedicated to ‘Personal Career Coaching’.

    Design Your Own Summer Experience:

    • Choose to attend the 10-day or 5-day Summer Experience. 
    • Accommodation, meals, guardianship and airport pick-up are available if required and can be added at checkout. London accommodation is provided at University of London’s halls of residence. Evening social activities will also be provided for students booking with accommodation.

    This programme is for students aged 12-14. No prior knowledge or experience is required; our professionals will give you all the training you need. There is no application process, and you can secure your place simply by clicking “Register Now”. We operate on a first-come first-served basis so encourage you to register as soon as possible.

    The Experience will take place on 5th August 2022. You can choose either the 10-Day Experience or 5-Day Experience.

Here you will find all of your programme materials and complete post-programme assessments to gain coveted ‘experience points’ to demonstrate your levels of professional development. You will also be able to access any of InvestIN’s Live Online weekend and evening programmes through AmbitionX at no extra cost.

    COVID-19 Group

    We do not anticipate any Covid-related issues preventing us from delivering the in-person programme. Any government guidance on Covid-related safeguarding (such as the wearing of masks and social distancing) will of course be adhered to. We have managed to successfully deliver in-person programmes during the Covid-19 pandemic (including during the summers of 2020 and 2021), with excellent feedback. We are therefore highly experienced in giving students a fantastic experience even with social distancing rules in place.

    In the unlikely event that the in-person programme is cancelled because of Covid-19 then students will have two options: i) move to the next in-person date; ii) move to the ‘Live Online’ version of the programme you selected and be refunded the difference in price. (If you pay via credit because you postponed a previous booking then the credit note will be reissued to you in full).
