Overview

The Future Political Leader Weekend takes students aged 12-14 on an immersive exploration of the world of a political leader. The programme gives you an interactive experience with top professionals from the world of politics who will guide you through exciting simulations, including creating your own election campaign, debating at an international summit – the UN Conference of Parties Climate Conference, and shaping a world-changing piece of climate change policy. You can choose to attend the programme either in-person at UCL or ‘Live Online’.

You will also be coached on how to become a top political leader, with guidance on GCSE choices, extra-curricular activities, work experience and more.

    This programme is for students aged 12-14. No prior knowledge or experience is required. The programme involves a mixture of interactive simulations, exercises and Q&A sessions.
