The Future Engineer Summer Experience gives students aged 12-14 a 360-degree, fully-immersive experience of working as an engineer in London.

Over the course of 10 days, students aged 12-14 will have some of the most prestigious experiences of engineering that one can imagine: designing your own rocket, programming a plane and designing a car for the future.

Also available on the Summer Experience are opportunities to take part in a STEM-themed immersive escape room and benefit from a full day dedicated to ‘Personal Career Coaching’.

    The Summer Experience is for students aged 12-14 and you do not require any prior knowledge. The London Experience will begin on 5th August 2022. You can choose to attend for either days 1-5 or days 1-10. You can add accommodation, meals and transfers if you wish to. Listed on the table below is a breakdown of the pricing options and what is included. (There is an alternative 'Live Online' version of the experience which you can attend for either 5 or 10 days which will begin on 12th August 2022.)

    COVID-19 Group

    We do not anticipate any Covid-related issues preventing us from delivering the in-person programme. Any government guidance on Covid-related safeguarding (such as the wearing of masks and social distancing) will of course be adhered to. We have managed to successfully deliver in-person programmes during the Covid-19 pandemic (including during the summers of 2020 and 2021), with excellent feedback. We are therefore highly experienced in giving students a fantastic experience even with social distancing rules in place.

    In the unlikely event that the in-person programme is cancelled because of Covid-19 then students will have two options: i) move to the next in-person date; ii) move to the ‘Live Online’ version of the programme you selected and be refunded the difference in price. (If you pay via credit because you postponed a previous booking then the credit note will be reissued to you in full).
