The Young Vet Programme

The Young Vet Programme

London • Ages 15-18

5th - 6th December 2020
Live Online

On the Young Vet Programme, a group of experienced veterinary science professionals will lead you through a series of interactive role-plays, simulations, seminars, and Q&A sessions, to give you an immersive experience of practising veterinary medicine.

The programme gives you a unique opportunity to examine animal x-rays, experience an hour’s simulation of a vet’s surgery, practise a common procedure in veterinary surgery, and develop your clinical communication skills. You will also be coached on maximising your chances of entering a top vet School.

The programme takes place over two days – Saturday dedicated to applying to essential veterinary skills and the veterinary school application process, and Sunday is dedicated to exploring specialisms in veterinary science. You can choose to attend either one or both days.

Attendance will give you a competitive edge in the veterinary science application process and a 'super-curricular' experience to add to your UCAS form.
