The Young Computer Scientist Programmes takes students aged 15-18 on an immersive exploration through today's most pioneering technology. You will take part in a series of interactive simulations, seminars and Q&A sessions with Software Engineers, Data Scientist, AI Specialists, Cyber Security Analysts and more.

The programmes includes an opportunity for you to code and develop an app, become a white hat hacker and use Big Data to develop code used by artificial intelligence. 

The programmes takes place over two days; Saturday dedicate to Software Engineering and Sunday to Cyber Security & AI. You can choose to attend one or both days.

You can choose to attend this programme EITHER in-person (at UCL) OR live online (via our state-of-the-art, interactive online platform).

            Programme Format & Options:

            The programme involves a mixture of interactive simulations, exercises and Q&A sessions. You can choose to attend this programme EITHER in-person (at UCL) OR online (via our state-of-the-art, interactive online platform). Both options are identical in content and are delivered LIVE by experienced professionals.

            The in-person programme takes place in a UCL lecture hall. The online programme involves the exact same content as the in-person one and offers the same opportunities to meet top professionals & boost your CV & UCAS form.

            In-Person Programme

              You can attend this programme via our state-of-the-art, interactive online platform from anywhere in the world. All the content will be delivered in a live, interactive manner and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions of our experienced professionals. All you need is an internet connection; we will send you full details of how to access the programme well in advance.

              WHO CAN ATTEND?

              This programme is for students aged 15-18 who have the passion and ambition to both learn about this career, and start boosting their UCAS/college applications & CVs. If you are a student who is slightly older or younger than our guidelines, then please do get in touch with us to discuss your specific situation.


              There is no application process, and you can secure your place simply by clicking “Register Now”. We operate on a first-come first-served basis and programme places are limited; we are usually full a couple of months in advance of the programme date. No prior knowledge or experience is required to join this programme as we build your knowledge from the basics up to more advanced concepts.
