Internship Overview
The Young Fashion Designer Programme gives students aged 15-18 an immersive experience of working in the Fashion industry. You will take part in a series of interactive simulations, seminars and Q&A sessions with fashion designers, illustrators, stylists, and merchandisers from various brands.
The programme includes an opportunity for you to: create mood boards, learn the key aspects of sketching, and design your very own capsule collection. You will learn to forecast fashion trends for the future, plan an effective marketing campaign for your brand, and gain the top insights required to build your retail empire.
The programme takes place over two days – Saturday dedicated to the process of designing a collection and Sunday to building your fashion business. You can choose to attend either one or both days.
Attendance will give you a competitive edge in the race for the best universities and jobs in fashion, and a 'super-curricular' experience to add to your UCAS application.
Expert Fashion Designers will coach you through live, interactive simulations, including:

An action plan of how to gain get to the top, starting now
Coaching by experts on study choices; work experience; building your portfolio; gaining exposure and networking in the industry
Q&A time with a panel of fashion designers to ask all your burning questions

Attendance demonstrates you’ve gained key skills such as design, teamwork, creativity and communication
Complete the online assessment after the programme and receive a personalised certificate to include in your applications
This programme will take place online, delivered LIVE by top professionals, with opportunities for you to interact and ask questions. The programme involves a mixture of interactive simulations, exercises and Q&A sessions.
Programme Fee:

You can attend this programme via our state-of-the-art, interactive online platform from anywhere in the world. All the content will be delivered in a live, interactive manner and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions of our experienced professionals. All you need is an internet connection; we will send you full details of how to access the programme well in advance.
This programme is for students aged 15-18 who have the passion and ambition to both learn about this career, and start boosting their UCAS/college applications & CVs. If you are a student who is slightly older or younger than our guidelines, then please do get in touch with us to discuss your specific situation.
There is no application process, and you can secure your place simply by clicking “Register Now”. We operate on a first-come first-served basis and programme places are limited; we are usually full a couple of months in advance of the programme date. No prior knowledge or experience is required to join this programme as we build your knowledge from the basics.
This programme will be delivered ‘Live Online’, so is not affected at all by any Covid-19 restrictions.
